Klaustur Char was established in 1995 at Kirkjubaejarklaustur in Iceland. The Char is farmed in a free flowing stream which is as close to the Char‘s natural environment as possible. Slow growth in the cold, oxygen rich water makes the Char‘s flesh firmer. It is rich with Omega 3 and Vitamin D besides being rich with fatty acid.
Klaustur Char is recommended by Icelandic Master Chefs and is Icelanders favorite. Most Hotels and restaurants in the Kirkjubaejarklaustur area choose Klaustur Char for their customers.
